I just have to say.... the CSN&Y tour appearance in Cleveland was given to me as a Xmas present by my children and was by far the best entertainment of my life....... There music and being molded my life in the 60's and70's.... I am forever greatful to each of them for sharing their God given talent.

The original '69 Woodstock site in Bethel, NY is about to be developed.

I hope that many of you will sign our petition, as there is only about a month to go until the town of Bethel NY decides to develop the original 38 acres. It's a wasteful shame that the geriatric republican billionaire who now owns the field also owns the surrounding 1300 acres, but feels he MUST build there!

To be on hand, experience each of you in living color, to hear the voices that only CSNY can give credence to all the wonderful melodies (that have long ago been ingrained in people's souls throughout the world) was an unbelievable experience. I've been to many great performances: Elton, Bruce, Mellenkamp, Sting, Stones, U2, Santanna and more, but nothing has ever been better than our glorious night with you at the Bradley Center. From the very pit of my soul, I am thankful for the gifts you have individually/collectivelly shared with the world for so many years. Thank you, thank you and keep on keeping on!! I suggest you issue a new greatest-hits album, since So Far is just nnoy egood enough anymore. The album could be called simply "1969-1971", just like The Beatles called their Red and Blue Albums. You should put there all the songs from So Far plus "Long Time Gone" from the first album, "Almost Cut My Hair" from the second and "Chicago", "Cowgirl In The Sand" and "Southern Man" from 4 Way Street.

Saw CSNY in Las Vegas last weekend (March 29)...will be seeing them again in Baltimore on April 20. Still one of the best, if not the best, groups around today. Their live performances blow away most of the newer, younger groups around. Much has been said about Neil Young...his great guitar work and his energy on stage...but the rest of the guys are just as awesome, if not more so. If anyone has NOT seen CSNY on their present tour and can get to one of the remaining concerts, DO IT! Well worth any traffic, money, aggravation, etc. etc. "Fatbroad" fatbroad@hotmail.com

PS: Rumor has it that a CD of their live performances will be issued. Also heard that Neil Young is going to be touring, possibly beginning sometime this summer.

They were awesome in Indy on 2/20 -- our seats were upgraded to excellent -- the music was excellent -- we cried thru the first couple songs. Neil Young rocks. We're still talking about it 3 weeks later. It was the best -- wooden music, electric, it was all fantastic!

Being a fan since I was 14 (yikes), I've loved them all ever since. I suppose it's close to impossible to obtain any signed photos.....Going to the Milwaukee concert on Monday, 03/11. Saw them perform 2 years ago and the first time at County Stadium in 1974? What a wonderful day that was....met my husband there and 27 years later-who would have thought...must have been the "music" in the air that day. When my dad asked me if I wanted to go to a CSNY concert out of the blue, I was a little worried. Now, I'm pretty opened to all types of music. My husband and I attended the concert in Columbus Ohio on Feb.7th,2002. We were both VERY disappointed that 2 of our favorite CSNY songs were not played:Southern Cross and Ohio. We thought for sure that the encore song would be Ohio since thats where the concert was. The guys all sounded good , but we felt that too many slow songs were played in a row. As per Steve G: with everthing that has happened....and with the chance to see CSN the other night and to hear DAYLIGHT AGAIN/FIND THE COST OF FREEDOM i was reminded of something that happened to me once.....when my son was about three years old he was sitting on the couch with me and i had FOUR WAY STREET playing on the HI-FI..... of course this was in the day of vinyl records.....anyway when FIND THE COST OF FREEDOM came on i looked at my three year old son and saw that his lip was quivering and these giant tears were forming in his eyes...... he hugged me around the neck and wouldn't let go for five minutes.....now it wasn't because he understood what they were singing about....it was because the message they were giving us was coming through loud and clear in the way the song sounded.....the SOUND made him sad....the message was there and it came through........

Not yet confirmed...but I heard that CSN will be singing on the Tonight Show Monday (9/16) or Tuesday (9/17). Singing "My Country Tis of Thee" and "Find the Cost of Freedom". This will be Leno's first live show since the tragedy and he held off doing it until he could get CSN (they are performing in LA on Monday).

ABOUT THE cpr BOard, most everyone i know stays away from it now, it is so hostile there, one can never be sure if their post will be nuked due to improper content, which depending on the day could be most anything ranging from a mention of stephen stills to the posting of a peace sign... but hey thats okay! me , I prefer the ongoing peace and love stuff. Will Stephen remember me? Well, statistically speaking, NO way, there have been a thousand thousand susans who have crossed his path in the past fourteen years. Hi I was asked by CAF( Child Alert Foundation)http://www.ChildAlert.org to help spread the word about a boy who was the victom of a hit and run driver.Here is a clip of his story.

Eric, at the age of 10, was a victom of a hit and run driver and left with every bone in his body broken. He has a 68 degree bend in his spine, is paralyzed from his neck down. He has daily migrane headaches. To add heart ache to misery for his family, the insurance cancelled out on them.

The current van the family owns is old and not as reliable for the over 100 mile required trips to the hospital. Eric will be facing surgury to relieve pressure where his spine is restricting circulation of blood The doctors will try to straighten it with a series of rods, but even so, it's a dangerous proceedure. Please pray for Eric and his family.His family is loving and devoted to his care, but resources are limited. Help us to get them a new van!

Hi If you guys do read this i would be very suprised! But All i can do is hope! My name is Sara, I am 15. A few weeks ago i watched Behind the Music on the 60's and i saw you guys talking about Ohio. I immidiatly broke in2 tears. Never in my lifetime have a heard or seen anything more horrible. I just wanted to say it touched my heart hearing that song. So many songs today have no meaning, i took people like you to have the courage and strength to write such a powerful song.

I grew up to the sound of your songs ringing through my house. I remeber singing along to your songs before I could read. I love your music, it is achingly beautiful to me. This is completly weird of me, but I need to ask your advice. I am a musical theater student, and I feel trapped. I would give anything and everything to be a singer. I've been performing for audiences since I was five. I was born to be a singer, I can't do this college thing anymore. The don't have a major to become a rock singer. I need to sing. I have followed your music for over 30 years. First with Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds and The Hollies and all the through the present day music. You are all fantastic inspirations to our world of music and the everyday world as well. I have been a guitar player, songwriter for 30years as well, but have not been fortunate enough to have hit anything big yet. Hello David, Stephen, Graham & Neil, My name is Terry and my e-mail is mtmbcd@erols.com. I live outside of Washington, D.C. and I am a great CSNY fan, I flew to Chicago to see you all after being blown away by your show on April 6th here in D.C. I also saw you in 1974 when you toured here. My now husband and I were sitting several sections away from each other at that show and didn't know it then. We often talk about how cool it is that we shared that incredible experience so many years before we knew the other existed.

I have been longing for quite some time to try to make personal contact with any of you. I would say especially David or Stephen or Graham or Neil because I love you all individually as well as together. I've read all your books and been on all the websites, have all the albums and videos, and have seen you in various combos live, but never the real thing. Not just your music, but individually as regular people, especially as family men ( I am married with four children) and especially now that you've reached the ages you are and STILL HAVE IT. I'm 41 and that gives me hope to keep going every day. Your music inspires me to the point that I listen to some of my collection almost every day. Today, LOOKING FORWARD sounded new and reduced me to tears again.

Anyway, I know I'm rambling on... I now have been blessed with oppurtunity to be in the same space as CSNY again. This time at Neil Young and group's FARM AID in Manassas, Virginia. I waited for hours and got 6th row tickets. I am absolutely crazed and obsessed with the idea of trying to get to meet you back stage or whereever. I know that I am just a one in a million fan, but is there any hope for a regular fan like me or am I just pipe dreaming?

Is there anything that you could (or would ?) do for me? I know you don't know me at all, but truly in your hearts you know me as a sister to the core. PLEASE HELP me if you can. At least, please drop me a line of response.

I went to your concert in Pittsburgh and was wondering what the woman was doing who was waving some type of smoke around on the stage before your entrance? My friends and I have been trying to figure it out since we saw you.

When I was a teenager (late 70's), I used to babysit for a neighbor who was divorced. She used to listen to your albums, Neil Young, Janis Joplin, etc. all the time. She wasn't much of a television person. Anyway, I grew up and we've been friends ever since. It was with her that I went to see you in concert. What a difference time makes . . . the mother and the babysitter went to the concert while the kids stayed home!

Your concert was the best that I've ever been to and I went to alot when I was younger.

Thanks for getting together again and letting your fans share in the moment!

Read recently that both Nash and Stills were working ( or planning to work) on solo albums.

Why not do a CSN ' Beatles White double album'. Some group songs. some solo, some duo ?

It worked for them.

Shame the CSNY 2k tour did not reach England, but it seemed as though it was enjoyed by all.

Hope to see a live CD and the Demo album one day.

I just recently attended your last concert in St. Louis. I'm twenty years old and never really had been a big fan. I had heard some of your music before but never really knew much about you all. My parents weren't really the "hippie type". After being at your concert at the Kiel Center, I now know I would have been. I just wanted to let you know that that was the best concert and best display of musical and singing talent I have ever heard. You all rocked the whole house! Thankyou for that show of talent. I was at your Hartford CT Concert Wednesday night, 4-12-00, and thoroughly enjoyed the show. You guys "ROCK!!!" Having grown up in the 60's and 70's, being extremely familiar with all your songs, it was a refreshing experience to have solid quality rock & roll playing, especially for approximately 3.5-4 hours!!! Great job!!! My only disappointment was that when i tried to buy a t-shirt as a souvenier, I had selected the long sleeve dark blue one that had the words "Music Dept. 1969" written on it, and there were no X-Large sizes available. I checked all 4 booths, and none of tehm had X-Large sizes available to sell. It's not like I was late in purchasing one, I was one of the first people there at 6:30 pm for an 8 pm show and apparenlty none of the booths had this size available. Don't get me wrong, you probably sold out the previous state and didn't have a chance to replenish, however, I was disappointed that I couldn't leave with this shirt. I ride a Valkyrie and prefer the long sleeve t-shirts to ride with, and this was the only long sleeve choice available, and a good choice at that. I was hoping to find the opportunity to perhaps buy/order one from this web site, however, I don't see that option available either. Oh well. Anyway, good luck with your tour, and I'm hoping to catch you guys on tour on another date, at another tour stop. After seeing and experiencing what I did last night, I'm hoping to arrange to bring my brother of 3 years older than I to see your show, who had always been a tremendous fan of yours and who initially turned me on to CSNY way back when I bought my very first piece of any type of music which was, (and I'll never forget it about 30 years ago) "CSNY-Deja-vu"!!!! My wife and I just saw your concert at Continental Arena, Sunday, April 9th.

It was absolutely incredible.

I cannot tell you enough have brilliant you all are as artists, and people.

The songs carry such an important message to the world. And the entire stadium jumped to their feet screaming at every turn to show there appreciation, love and respect for all of you.

This concert was a life experience for me, and at 45 years old, a wife and 3 daughters, I want to share with them your important, beautiful music.

by the way, when "Eight miles high" began, everyone was so excited that that song was performed! To have thousands of people singing along the way we did to every song, THAT was an experience.

Hi Guys-

I wanted to say thanks for a great show last night at the New Jersey Meadowlands (4/9). It was a great night until my girlfriend tried to exchange a CSNY white T-shirt that had some dirt on it and was sold to her that way. The employees at the booth were completely rude and insulting to her. She had purchased the shirt a mere 15 minutes earlier from that exact location. I usually don't get upset over stuff like this but at $32 a pop I got quite angry. She returned to the seats in tears & actually purchased another shirt at $32 to please me! This is when I lost it and took it upon myself to speak with these people near gate 217. After about 20 minutes of getting nowhere, I inquired where to call or send a letter to express my displeasure (I missed about 3 awesome songs during this time!). They then rudely told me to take it up 1st with Graham Nash himself & then reluctently sent me to management at gate 111. Upon arrival at gate 111 management was extremely cooperative & gave me a new white shirt. Upon my return to the original stand near gate 217 with the new shirt they happily returned our $32 for the 2nd shirt. The incident upset us very much considering how you guys preach peace, love and cooperation & yet this whole incident could have been handled in a much more efficient and peaceful manner. If these employees are not affliated with your tour then accept my apology for this message. I still think its important that you guys know what goes on at your shows anyway...

Thanks for your time & a great concert. I hope I'll get the chance to see those 3 songs I missed sometime soon!

I guess my comments on very unoriginal. I saw your concert at the New Jersey Continental Arena on April 9, 2000. Your harmonies still soar and produce a sound that no one can possibly approach. Your new songs are of the quality of your early songs. Indeed they are more thoughtful than before. And you can really rock. The way that you have recreated the arrangements to some of the songs like Woodstock, Ohio, and Love the One You're With to change them from anthems and pop songs to real rockers is wonderful.

Just returned from DC concert. Fabulous! Thanks for playing so long. Harmonies were the best I've ever heard you. Just keeps getting better. Question though - What happened at the end? A lot of us really got lost in the last 30 minutes, especially with the encore. Things just seemed to fizzle and Neil just seemed to be on his own planet. The whole flavor of the evening seemed to drastically change, and if I'm not mistaken, Graham walked off the stage unhappy before things were done. Then the lights just immediately came up. Seemed weird. Thanks.

i am a fan from way back, i saw your show at the Garden last night. Aside from the compliements on your performances, i would just like to comment on the timelessness of your lyrics. Here we are 25-30 years later and your words about the threat of the police, the state of the enviroment and of humanity in general is still so relevant to today's society. I wish it was not the case, but it is. THe police/state troopers killed the four at Kent, and look what is happening here in NYC now.....Unarmed people being gunned down. "How many more?" Hi. I thought that last night's concert in Boston was phenomenal.There was such passion and vitality in the music.The subtle and not so subtle lyrical changes to the songs were a treat to listen to. When I play to some of the songs today, I can still hear them the way they were performed last night. Your voices and instruments reached my heart, and the messages remain timely and relevant. We were in front of the stage as high up as possible, directly against the back wall, but there was such joy in the music that being far from the stage did not dim the pleasure of the concert. I saw you in concert last night in Cleveland, Ohio. It was AMAZING! I loved seeing all of you together. Although, there seemed to be a lot of tension between Stills and Young. Wow! I'm a 52 year old die hard fan who received tickets to your March 26th concert in Boston. I got them as a Christmas gift!! What A GIFT!! I guess somebody really likes me. I've been following you guys forever (solo & collectively) but I've never been able to nail down tickets. I go back a ways(Buffalo Springfield,The Birds,The Hollies CSN,CSNY etc. the whole deal. I'm the real thing. I cant wait! I met you on your bus with your wife in Des Moines right before Woodstock II. I am 18 years doing the deal and run a drug prevention program called Rock In Prevention in Iowa. We train local high school kids to teach younger kids to be drug free. We use songs as teaching tools in a 100% interactive format. We are science based and fun! RIP has helped over 450,000 Iowa kids since 1990. We recieve $1.2 million of free PSA time on radio and TV from the Iowa Broadcasters Association. In 1997 we were honored as one of the twenty best innovative prevention programs in the United States by Gen. Barry McCaffrey from the Office of National Drug Control Policy. I would be interested in having you become involved with our project per years of watching you in the media talking about the value of prevention and education. One idea I have in particular would be after seeing the program, fronting one of our TV spots. I think it would be a win/win for people to see your mug and help you when CPR comes back to Iowa. David, Stephen, Graham and Neil, You guys are still the greatest. I was delighted with the VH1 Legends Show and the Storytellers show last night. Your energy was lovely. So good to see you all together again, although , I've enjoyed all of your solo efforts over the last 20+ years. Looks like you are having fun. I appreciate the joy and your gifts. It makes me feel joyful, too. I'm hoping to catch your show in Pittsburgh this Sat. I will if there are any tickets left. I feel like I've been living in a cave. I was seriously injured in March 99 and didn't hear any specific ticket announcements then 3 weeks ago I heard you were sold out. Hope it's not true but I can't imagine there being tickets left. Will find out tomorrow for sure. Sorry to hear about your injuries, Graham. You looked pretty well recovered on TV, hope that's true. Back in 1974/75 I became friends with David Kline and Sandy Mazzeo, Neil's road manager and can't remember Sandy's job. But I do remember meeting all of you a number of times and seeing a number of the shows on that tour. Some of my favorites were Cleveland, Toronto and NYC. Joni M. opened for you at the Roosevelt Speedway and David invited me especially to meet her since she was my idol! What a rush! I had a lot of conversations backstage with Bill Graham over tea. He had such a great appreciation and admiration for all of you. It was a lot of fun for me and I have fond memories. I'm sure you don't remember me... so many people. I was struck by the incredible energy associated with each of you individually and then collectively....and then the way the energy just snowballed into a huge force for good and change. I thank you for putting forth your voice for the good of all of us and for all your help to those with less and for doing it in such a beautiful way with pure sounds, words, harmony and heart. I honor you for your caring and work. And I'm honored to share a little piece it with you. Thank you for influencing me and a whole generation to do the same in our own way. Long, lost music department: When I was young (15 years ago) I had a tape that has since been lost. It was CSN live from a radio broadcast and it contianed the Stills tune TREETOP FLYER. I Loved that song and modeled a part of my life after it. As I said, it went away and all I know is that it was the best music I have ever heard. I went to a show in the late '80's and was truely blown away to hear it. I was on my feet and screaming from that first familiar chord (you know the one). This concerns redemption and restoring one's reputation in the eyes of a fan. David, you were responsible for the single worst night of rock and roll in a my 30-plus year career seeing rock shows. The date was my birthday, April 8, 1982, and the venue was the Riverboat President in New Orleans. I had a date that night with the woman who became my wife, and I really wanted to impress her. But, you came out obviously wasted, played about five songs, then left after about a 20-minute show. I had been a fan of yours since The Byrds, so needless to say, I was crushed. Well, that was then, this is now. I caught the CSNY show this past Monday night at Houston, and I can say that you have redeemed yourself. You guys were great! And I was gratified to see you clear of eye, clear of mind and in outstanding voice. You have (and always have had) a wonderful gift given by God, and I am very pleased that you are still with us and in rare form. Best wishes for continued success on this tour and forever afterward.
